KAHM honored as One of the 10 Best Recreational Trails in the USA

Our shared public spaces have become more important than ever in the past year, giving us a place to get outside, get active and breathe the fresh air in a safe and socially distanced way.
USA Today is celebrating North America's great public spaces, and Kauai has just been recognized in a competition hosted by that publication.
Kauai's Ke Ala Hele Makalae placed fifth in USA Today's 10 Best recreational trails category along with the nation's favorite city parks, public plazas, riverwalks, and urban kayaking spots. Winners were announced on February 26, 2021.
