Phase II Signage :: locating trail maps

August 19, 2008: Public Works' Building Division Chief Doug Haigh got together with Kauai Path's Secretary Thomas Noyes, Operator / Lead Man Roscoe Uyeda (in the hard hat), and Mark Nishida, Project Manager in charge of the construction of Phase II of Ke Ala Hele Makalae by Jason Glover, Ltd. to choose locations for the trail head signage.

One of the two trail directional signs will be located where Mr. Uyeda is driving in a metal stake (near the Lihi Boat Ramp comfort station), and will be similar in appearance and construction to the sign structures seen in Lydgate Park. Department of Parks & Recreation Deputy Director Kylan Dela Cruz joined Haigh and Noyes to site the second sign. It will be positioned mauka of the path just to the North of the Kealia Beach comfort station. Mahalo to Dr. Randy Blake for the photos.
