On February 15, 2008, the county dedicated 2.3 miles-the new Kapaa to Kealia Beach section-of the path for public use.
Public access is restricted from Kealia Beach north to Kuna Bay, however, as that section remains a construction site, and is not yet a part of the county's park system.
Thanks to Committee Member Richard Sugiyama for the digital photos and descriptions! Progress as of October 31, 2007
